1_Raw_Data This folder contains the raw data from the Bocas del Toro Archipelago (bathymetry, E1 (Roughness), E2 (Hardness). This links provides some information regarding the variables that the Humminbird acquires: https://reefmaster.com.au/reference2/index.htm?context=450 The Humminbird fish finder equipment provided .DAT files. Using the Reef Master V2.0 (RM) software, the raw data was exported in other formats: - .csv (the data is divided into 2 csv files due to limitations on excel rows) - shapefile - .gpx - Google Earth 2_Processed_Data This folder contains processed data in 2 formats: - .csv (the data is divided into 2 csv files due to limitations on excel rows) - shapefile Post-processing: Using the RM, the outliers of the bathymetry data were deleted (E1 and E2 values were simultaneously processed when processing bathymetry’s noise data), and the tidal correction for bathymetry was done using the Unified Tidal Analysis and Prediction Functions (U-Tide) in the Matlab software. The sea level measurements were acquired from the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute's Physical Monitoring Program in Bocas del Toro, Panama. https://striresearch.si.edu/physical-monitoring/rtg-bocas-del-toro/#Tide-Gauge-4w (For accessing this dataset, please contact the Physical Monitoring Program team). Post-Process summary: - Outliers deleted using RM - Tide corrected using Matlab - All values <0 in E1, E2, and PeakSV have been deleted - All values <0.5m in depth have been deleted. 3_Metadata This folder contains the Humminbird's metadata acquisition as well as the user manual for guidance. The Coordinate Reference System (CRS) of these data are: WGS 1984 (EPSG: 4326).
